2nd Shift Quality Measure Technician
Starting Hourly Rate- $ 17.50
*Attendance Bonus up to $180 each pay period or $2 per hour equivalency
PURPOSE AND SCOPE
The primary function of the Measure Technician is to ensure propellers conform to performance related standards by using equipment to verify measurements for various parts of the propellers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Utilize gages to measure product and ensure it conforms to quality standard
- Completing assigned checks with a sense of urgency (aka customer focus)
- Understanding the purpose and requirements of the checks being performed
- Gaining a clear understanding of what is considered "Good" product and "No Good" product
- Gather and record data
- Complete all paperwork associated with orders
- Clean equipment and work area at the end of the shift
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Ability to use and understand various measurement devices and methods
- Ability to enter basic data in Microsoft Excel
- Must be able to communicate verbally and written
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to pass a basic physical exam
- Must have a great attitude and be a team player
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or GED/High School Equivalency
- Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
