The Bradenton facility manufactures acoustical ceiling grid systems by utilizing roll formers, flying shears, conveyor systems, punches/dies, and mechanical presses.

2nd shift:2:30pm-12:30am - Monday-Thursday, OT as needed Friday-Sunday
Compensation:$16.00-$17.00
Additional Bonus:Immediately eligible to participate in additional quarterly bonus program
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Follow standardized work processes and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment.
- Effectively carry out assigned tasks throughout the shift.
- Inspect products to ensure quality and customer specifications throughout the shift.
- Safely operate a press and roll former
- Notify Lead if individual notices any issues with equipment on the production line.
- Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace at end of shift.
- Correctly report production in the SAP system.
- Keep track of scrap and downtime during the shift and submit to Shift Supervisor at end of each shift.
- Assembles & staple packing boxes.
- During plant downtime this position assists with plant housekeeping, maintenance, and warehouse duties.
- Performs other duties requested by a shift supervisor and Site Management.
Required Qualifications
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
- Ability to read policies & procedure manuals.
- Ability to safely operate/use hand and power tools.
- Ability to use measuring instruments (calipers, thickness gauge, dial indicator, etc.)
- Attention to detail
- Multi-task & be flexible with assignments.
- Must have general computer skills abilities in order to complete and/or update reports, orders, etc.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Products a plus (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook)
- Must be able to work 10-12 hour shifts and work weekends when necessary.
