Fossil Group is searching for a Showroom Assistant to join our team in the New York City Sales Office. 

Responsibilities include:  

  • Meets and Greets all customers and travelers visiting the NYC showroom with a friendly and helpful demeanor
  • Ensures showroom is always customer facing
  • Schedules car and messenger services for clients
  • Gathers and accurately submits all Showroom receipt purchases
  • Schedules and coordinates showroom supply orders, meeting catering, maintenance
  • Coordinates sample shipments, deliveries, manages sample inventory and displays
  • Responsible for maintaining the showroom’s complete set of samples for all brands
  • Manages showroom set up for meetings/market: Owns the preparation and execution of Market Week for multiple floors four times a year, and other events as needed
  • Manages all IT related issues for Showroom
  • Schedules contract employees, coordinates visual team, graphic installs, fixture updates
  • Interface with building management and staff to keep operations running smoothly
  • Owns all showroom specific communication with vendors, suppliers, contractors
  • Ad Hoc projects as needed
  • Assists sales team as needed

Your Skills

Requirements:

  • In office 5 days per week, additional days required during market and meeting prep.
  • Friendly, Can-do attitude, People person, Organized, Efficient and creative problem solver, Self starter, Takes ownership and initiative over the day to day running of the showroom. No job too big or too small. 
  • Can professionally engage and negotiate with building management and can manage/delegate support staff.
  • Strong communication skills, Excellent multi-tasker and strong time management skills
  • Desire to work for a large fast paced fashion company with desire for upward mobility in sales, marketing, ecommerce
  • Basic Excel skills a must
  • Reports into Sr Account Executive
