What You'll get to Do:
Northrop Grumman Marines Systems specializes in the development, manufacture assembly and testing of propulsion, and power generation systems for naval surface ships and submarines. The Manager Manufacturing 2will supervise the factory hourly Welders and support functions of high quality, low volume, large fabricated structures for the Marine Propulsion and Power Generation SBU. This position will also interface with Sr. Operations Leadership, a variety of engineering disciplines, and end customers for the products their team produces and delivers.
Additional responsibilities include ensuring all members of the team are adequately trained to accomplish assigned tasks efficiently and effectively and will lead the implementation of Lean Principles and Continuous improvement efforts in their assigned areas.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree with minimum 8 years of relevant experience; Master's Degree with a minimum 6 years of relevant experience. (Note: an additional 4+ years of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of degree).
• A minimum of 5 years leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
• A minimum of 5 years leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Firm understanding of the fundamentals of MRP.
• Familiarity with CAM functions.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing tools and techniques.
Salary Range: $114,100 - $171,100
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
