The Foundation accomplishes the work through grantmaking, programs, and events in our Community, Music, Global, and Civic Programs. The Foundation is home to a team of professionals who are passionate about making a difference.

About the role:

We are seeking a full-time Community Programs Manager (CPM) who will play an important role in local responsive grantmaking efforts and strategic initiatives built to advance goal areas that build a stronger Larimer County: ensuring all youth thrive; promoting economic stability and mobility; and cultivating a vibrant community. The CPM will leverage content area expertise and build strong relationships to inform, design, implement, and assess specific strategies that create impact within identified goal areas. This position works under the direction of the Community Programs Director and in collaboration across multiple Bohemian Foundation teams.

A strong candidate embodies a partnership mindset who values diverse perspectives in pursuit of a common outcome. This position is designed for an individual who can successfully navigate between the spaces of day-to-day implementation and management, relationship-based work, and high-level strategy. A successful candidate embodies a strong learning orientation, is energized by working amongst multi-disciplinary teams, and has demonstrated experience in strengthening and adapting programs in pursuit of impact.

Qualified candidates will have a minimum of five years of progressive professional experience managing and leading projects in a nonprofit, foundation, or grantmaking role, or other relevant and transferable experience. Candidates will also have experience in relevant content areas, with a preference for experience in youth development or systems in support of advancing youth outcomes.  A bachelor’s degree or relevant combined experience in lieu of a degree will be accepted.

Must be a skilled communicator and writer with strong organizational and analytical skills, business aptitude that includes interpretation and understanding of financial statements and business structures, along with demonstrated skills in planning, organizing and implementing complex activities utilizing strong detail-orientation. Candidate must also demonstrate the ability to understand and work effectively with people from different backgrounds, lead working groups/collaborate efforts with a comfort and proficiency at public speaking, as well as successfully manage internal and external stakeholder relations.

The minimum starting salary for this position is $90,000. All regular, full-time employees are eligible for medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, wellness benefits, retirement savings and company match. Additional benefits include sixteen paid holidays, flexible time off, new parent leave, staff education, and education reimbursement.

This information is provided in compliance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act and is the company's good faith and reasonable reflection of the minimum compensation and benefits offered for this position. The compensation offered to the successful applicant may vary based on factors including employee qualifications, employer finances, and other operational considerations.

For consideration:

Position is based in Fort Collins, Colorado.

A cover letter and resume are required for consideration. Please submit by email directly to jobs@bohemianfoundation.org. Submissions will be accepted until close of business, October 28, 2024.
