Full Job Description

About Us:

At Alpenglow Physical Therapy, we believe in empowering lives through movement, independence, and compassionate care. Located within a vibrant assisted living community, our mission is to deliver top-tier physical therapy that enhances mobility, restores dignity, and elevates the quality of life for our senior residents. We are committed to excellence—providing personalized, cutting-edge care that drives meaningful results.

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Director of Therapy who is passionate about leading a team of talented therapists and delivering world-class rehabilitation services. This is more than a job; it’s an opportunity to make a lasting impact on a community of people who need your expertise and leadership!

The Opportunity:

Are you ready to take the next big step in your physical therapy career? As the Director of Therapy, you’ll be at the forefront of transforming lives through rehabilitation. You’ll not only guide the therapeutic care of our residents but also focus on growing and developing a clinic within an ALF. If you’re a motivated leader who thrives in a dynamic environment and is driven by a deep commitment to excellence, this is the perfect role for you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspire, Lead & Elevate:
Work towards building a dynamic team of physical, occupational, and speech therapists, driving a culture of continuous improvement, passion, and exceptional care. You will mentor your team, empowering them to provide innovative therapies that change lives.
  • Transform Patient Lives:
Provide direct hands-on care to residents, developing and executing highly personalized treatment plans that lead to real progress. You’ll be the driving force behind each resident’s journey to recovery, ensuring they achieve their highest level of independence and function.
  • Pioneer Excellence in Therapy:
Maintain the highest standards of clinical care and compliance, ensuring all therapies meet and exceed federal, state, and professional guidelines. You’ll innovate, implement, and improve programs that elevate the quality of life for each resident.
  • Foster Collaboration & Impact:
Serve as the essential bridge between the therapy clinic and the assisted living facility management. Your ability to communicate, collaborate, and foster strong relationships will ensure that the therapy clinic is fully integrated into the community’s broader healthcare team, making you the trusted go-to leader in therapy services.
  • Grow & Manage Clinic Success:
Oversee the clinic’s daily operations, ensuring that schedules, caseloads, and staffing levels are optimized to provide top-notch care. You’ll monitor financial performance, assist with budget management, and ensure smooth clinic workflows while keeping your eye on continuous growth and improvement.

Why This Role is for You:

  • Leadership that Makes a Difference:
You’ll lead with vision and passion, guiding your team to provide the highest level of care to our residents. Your leadership will directly impact the success of our clinic and the well-being of the people we serve.
  • Patient-Centered Focus:
With a heart for senior care and rehabilitation, you’ll work closely with residents, their families, and the entire interdisciplinary team to ensure that every patient’s treatment is as unique as they are.
  • Innovative & Progressive Care:
You'll be given the resources, autonomy, and support to implement the latest rehabilitation techniques, ensuring your clinic remains at the cutting edge of therapeutic practices.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Doctorate or master’s degree in physical therapy from an accredited program.
    • Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
  • Experience:
    • At least 3 years of clinical experience in physical therapy, including leadership or supervisory roles.
    • Proven experience in geriatric or senior care settings preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Exceptional leadership and management skills—ready to mentor and inspire a team.
    • A deep passion for patient care and a commitment to achieving excellence in therapy outcomes.
    • Knowledge of insurance processes, Medicare, and regulatory compliance.
    • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to balance clinical and operational responsibilities.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive Salary: We reward your hard work and commitment to excellence. ($35-$50 per hr.)
  • Comprehensive Benefits Package: Health, dental, and vision insurance, plus retirement plan with employer matching.

  • An Empowering Work Environment: Work in a supportive, collaborative environment where your leadership and ideas are valued.
