Commercial Account Resolution Analyst

A Day In The Life:
This position is responsible for the comprehensive management, investigation, collection, and timely resolution of all commercial account discrepancies. This includes accessorial charges (detention and demurrage) for the Oils business, as well as short payments (deductions) and overpayments (disputes) for all customer accounts. The Commercial Account Resolution Analyst acts as a critical liaison between customers and various internal Bunge teams, ensuring efficient and effective resolution of all outstanding items while adhering to key metric targets and Bunge's SOX policies.


What You'll Be Doing:
* Investigate, analyze, and resolve all types of commercial account discrepancies, including accessorial charges (detention/demurrage), short payments, and overpayments, determining the merit of customer claims.
* Serve as the primary point of contact and liaison for customers and cross-functional internal groups (Commercial, Supply Chain, AR, Customer Service, Pricing, Credit, Master Data, Collections) regarding account resolution.
* Communicate findings, decisions, and resolutions clearly and professionally to customers and all relevant internal stakeholders.
* Issue and process appropriate financial adjustments (credits and debits) for various charges and disputes, maintaining strict adherence to Bunge's SOX policies and internal controls.
* Monitor and track all resolution cases and disputes using relevant systems, including SAP (FSCM Dispute Management module) and Salesforce, ensuring accurate status updates.
* Report regularly to key stakeholders on the status of charges, disputes, and overall AR health, providing accurate data and insights.
* Identify repetitive issues, conduct root cause analysis with internal Bunge departments, and propose process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce discrepancies, and improve the overall customer experience.
* Maintain and update process maps for unique customer requirements and assist in streamlining processes.
* Support excellent customer experiences by ensuring timeliness, coordination, and proactive resolution of all requests and service problems.
* Maintain a high level of professionalism at all times, building connections and rapport with both internal and external customers to provide outstanding, personalized service.

Skills/Experience Requirements:
* Education: Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of relevant experience, OR an equivalent combination of experience and high school diploma.
* Agribusiness experience a plus.
* Analytical Acumen: Highly data-driven, detail-oriented, with the ability to meticulously investigate specifics while understanding broader impacts.
* Communication & Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills (including phone/email etiquette); demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
* Problem-Solving & Organization: Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, prioritization, time management, and organizational skills; effective at multitasking.
* Independent Decision-Making: Self-reliant, independent, and decisive; capable of making quick, smart decisions with sound judgment.
