Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Sales Representative to join our dynamic team specializing in mortar and shotcrete machines. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling our tried-and-tested equipment to construction companies, contractors, machine operators and other industry professionals. Key responsibilities include identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, especially in the mortar machine market, conducting product demonstrations, and providing technical support. A strong understanding of construction processes, hands-on mentality and excellent communication skills are essential for success in this role.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Identify potential clients in the construction sector.
* Prepare and deliver engaging presentations and product demonstrations to clients.
* Highlight the benefits and features of shotcrete and mortar machines.
* Address customer inquiries and provide solutions to their needs.
* Collaborate with management to develop sales strategies and targets.
* Analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
* Provide technical assistance and training to clients on machine operation and maintenance.
* Prepare and present sales proposals and quotes and close sales effectively.
* Gather and report feedback from clients to improve product offerings.
* Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities.
* Attend trade shows and industry events to network and promote products.
* Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions.
* Provide regular sales reports to management.
* Stay updated on new technologies and advancements in shotcrete and mortar machines.
* Participate in training and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
* Very strong communication skills with internals and externals
* Strong Sales acumen and strong customer focus
* Self-motivated individual with a problem-solving mentality
* High willingness to travel (>50%)
* Spanish is a plus
Education/Certification/Training:
* High School Degree
* Mandatory safety training (see "Total Compliance Management" program).
* On the job training
Physical Demands:
* Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
* Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, peripheral, and the ability to focus.
Work environment:
* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is in a typical office environment; occasionally exposed to noise, dust, and chemicals.
* Safety glasses/goggles must be worn at all times while in designated areas of shop.
