Riverside seeks a Procurement Manager

The Procurement Manager will be a key contributor to the creation of a comprehensive end-to-end procurement process and will work closely with upper management, vendors, and purchasing employees to determine product needs.  Maintaining supplier contracts, placing orders according to demand, and developing strategic purchasing plans to address the needs of Riverside will be integral to the success of this position.

Tasks and responsibilities include:

  • Develop sound, cost-effective strategies for the purchasing of materials used in the business
  • Develop RFPs that aid in price discovery and vendor selection
  • Manage vendor price change requests, validates them against existing contract terms, and calculates cost impact
  • Conduct cost analyses and setting benchmarks for improvement
  • Maintain relationships with suppliers while continually scouting for additional vendors
  • Evaluate spending operations while seeking ways to improve and enhance the quality of products purchased and the timeliness of deliveries
  • Develop risk management procedures to mitigate losses in the event of product shortages
  • Facilitate implementation of new agreements and onboarding of new vendors

Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours with a Monday through Friday schedule.

Pay Range: $90,001 to $94,993/salaried

Required Skills

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skill required
  • Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint required
  • Analytical mindset and strong attention to detail
  • Strong project-management and problem-solving skills required
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to demonstrate them are required
  • Experience working in the Behavioral Health industry preferred

Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree supply chain management, purchasing management or related field required
  • MBA or Master’s degree in a related field preferred
  • 5 years of procurement experience required
