The Product Manager for Immunoassays will focus on growth objectives for BioLegend's ELISA, Multiplex and related Immunoassays products. This position will be responsible for leading all aspects of product marketing for the Immunoassay business, to inform our corporation and guide our portfolio and business strategies. This position will direct product marketing strategies and contribute to collateral development, collect customer feedback to assist product development teams in developing new portfolio products and solutions, and monitor sales performance of the associated product lines.
Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to: participate in finding and evaluating new technologies, evaluate market/customer segment trends and competitive intelligence, work with marketing and sales teams to successfully launch new products, and implement marketing strategies, including developing sales enablement tools, web pages, email blasts, literature, and promotions. Some travel for conferences and customer visits is required.

- Support new product launch, review and update documentation, pricing product features, etc.
- Provide customer support as needed, supporting the technical service team on product line-specific inquiries.
- Work with Corporate Marketing to devise and implement marketing strategies, while defining and creating associated marketing materials.
- Collaborate with FAS teams in the development of Immunoassay customer-facing training and education presentations. This includes giving commercial and technical seminars as needed.
- Collaborate with Product Development and Product Marketing in the development and improvements of applications notes, protocols and white papers.
- Analyzes competitors and ensures competitive strategies and product development pipelines are in place for new and existing products.
- Utilize scientific skills to assist with customer requests to provide technical information, QC data, and troubleshooting help via telephone and emails and customer follow up.
- Collaborate with internal departments to retrieve product related information for customers and coordinate internal investigations of potential non-conforming products.
- Contribute to company's knowledge by updating literature and webpages, and by identifying potential new product targets at scientific meetings.
- Other projects or responsibilities as may be required.
Minimum Qualifications - Education and Experience
- PhD in life sciences with 5 years of experience in life sciences. (BS in life sciences with equivalent experience may be considered)
- Must have experience with Immunoassays, more specifically with ELISA and bead-based multiplex assays.
- Proficiency with data analysis is required.
- Ability to travel up to 25%
Preferred Qualifications - Education and Experience
- Experience in product management preferred
- Sales experience in life sciences a plus
- Experience with ELISpot is advantageous
- Must be able to effectively search and read primary literature, as well as be knowledgeable with research tools, including website databases and instrumentation.
- Must be a self-starter, highly motivated, dependable, and team player.
- Must also have problem solving, analytical, and quantitative skills and able to work independently and effectively in a team environment.
- High-level technical expertise, good communication skills, friendly, team player, software skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
The base salary range for this full-time position is $105,000-$110,000/year. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for a new hire in this position. The base pay actually offered to the successful candidate will take into account internal equity, work location, and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This range allows for the successful candidate to have an opportunity to progress within the position and develop at our company.
