Financial Data Analyst

Kimball Midwest, a national distributor of maintenance, repair, and operation products, is searching for a Finance Data Analyst for our Columbus, Ohio location.

Responsibilities

• Support and contribute to finance and accounting analytics projects and processes.
• Perform data import/export/manipulation/analyzation from various databases and sources.
• Maintain documentation regarding projects, processes, and operations for finance and accounting.
• Supports company growth objectives through effective data management and communication skills.
• Performing ad-hoc reporting requests and requirements gathering from the Finance team.
• Establish data checks/balances for accuracy and completeness.
• Identify data anomalies and work with Finance/IT to resolve them.
• Support the Finance department on data clean up and standardization.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Data Science.
• Some combination of 2-3 years of experience in the Accounting and Data fields.  
• Experience in the Financial and Accounting field.
• Experience developing reporting processes.
• Working knowledge of Power BI and Excel. Experience with Alteryx is a plus.
