The Opportunity
This role will lead efforts to increase sales, revenue, and group and event marketing for newly launched Park Hyatt Alliance, a collective of ten Park Hyatt hotels in the Americas. Through strategic planning, and development of new group and transient business and the expansion of existing business this role will play a pivotal role in short- and long-term success of these properties. With a proven track record of revenue-growing sales tactics, the ideal candidate challenges norms and welcomes new and unique sales models within the luxury industry, utilizing revenue-forward prospecting tactics. The Role
Work alongside the Area Director of Business Development and the Directors of Sales at the Park Hyatt hotels in the Americas to perform the following tasks:
•Lead efforts to increase luxury transient sales, revenue, and group and event marketing for Park Hyatt Alliance through strategic planning and execution of specialty curated events
•Develop complete knowledge and understanding of the 10 Park Hyatt hotels in the Americas
•Engage and build working relationships with the property DOSM and Luxury Sellers
•Outline new business opportunities to be shared with the teams on a monthly basis. Track progress
•Targeted solicitation in collaboration with sales team to convert business
•Maintain effective working relationships with Hyatt Sales Force Team
•Create and execute specialty curated Park Hyatt luxury events in key feeder markets as identified by leadership. Represent Park Hyatt Hotels in Americas at tradeshows and organize events at key industry tradeshows as identified by leadership
•Champion Hyatt brand awareness, be an active member in industry organizations as identified by leadership
Qualifications
Qualifications:
•5+ years of luxury transient and group sales experience
•Proficient Amadeus Tools, Knowland Group Essential Readerboard Reports, LinkedIn Navigator
•Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and time management skills
•Proven sales experience with the ability to lead, guide and achieve personal revenue goals
•Creative thinker with a passion for planning and executing events
•Ability to use analytical data to create a sales strategy with a results-driven approach
