Responsibilities
The Contractor Safety Manager in Lansdale, PA supports specific project needs by ensuring best practices are implemented, safety compliance requirements are met, and enhance a culture of safety.
- Attend pre-bid, preconstruction, operational and relevant meetings to provide project safety assistance and support for related activities
- Execute site safety management and oversight duties for client
- Act as a technical resource and provide support to client representatives concerning the application of the contractor safety program, related standards and site requirements
- Oversee all aspects of the commercial construction project within the pharmaceutical facility ensuring OSHA compliance
- Conduct safety meetings
- Complete accident reports and conduct accident investigations
- Daily safety audits and inspections
- Oversee all subcontractors and contractors
Qualifications
- Minimum 7+ years direct construction safety experience required
- Working knowledge pharmaceutical safety protocols
- OSHA 510 required
- Advance knowledge of construction safety standards
- Great verbal and written communication
- Ability to coach and mentor in all facets of the construction safety process
- Proficient Microsoft Office skills
