We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate Business Sales Manager to drive engagements with strategic customers to drive Surface for Business device sales. As the BSM you will drive Surface for Business sales execution for these customers. This will be done by providing cross-engagement oversight and resource orchestration all while operating in close collaboration with customers and and business partners who are supporting customer success.
Responsibilites:

  • Sales Execution: Drive Surface for Business devices by engaging customers, collaborating with internal sales teams, and identifying opportunities to grow revenue through cross-sell and up-sell opportunities.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders and leverage internal and external relationships to support deal closure.
  • Sales Excellence: Manage pipeline and territory through business analysis, proactive customer engagement to ensure satisfaction and optimize account performance.
  • Optimizing Assisted Sales Motions:
    • Engage with customers to drive Surface for Business device sales by identifying opportunities that align with their industry.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to build and qualify pipeline opportunities, driving revenue growth.
    • Lead conversations that foster cross-sell and up-sell, providing demos and facilitating solution delivery by overcoming blockers to purchase.
  • Cross Team Collaboration
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with North America Account Teams and understand their goals, challenges, and needs.
    • Share best practices to help local and customers understand the value proposition of buying Surface for Business.
    • Facilitate communication and coordinate orders between your customers and CSS (Customer Service & Support).
  • Sales Excellence
    • Manage pipeline and territory through business and whitespace analysis, pursuing high-potential customers and ensuring accurate forecasting.
    • Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing dissatisfaction proactively and optimizing service delivery.
    • Lead rhythm-of-business (ROB) meetings for account review, maintaining end-toend responsibility for territory management and growth.

Ideal Candidate:

  • 5+ years of customer-facing experience working with Enterprise and Education customers
  • Ability to understand business requirements for large device deals ($1M+) and solve for them directly
  • Capability to manage the end-to-end Inbound Sales team business, including forecasting and aligning with strategic priorities
  • Experience demonstrating Surface devices or PCs to Commercial or Consumer customers
  • BA/BS degree from a four-year accredited university
  • Experience with CRM, Microsoft Teams, Power BI

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $67.00 to $75.00 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
