Job Summary:The Epic Ambulatory Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the implementation and optimization of the Epic Ambulatory module. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, managing project timelines, and ensuring successful delivery of project objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare IT, project management, and Epic systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of Epic Ambulatory projects.
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to gather requirements and define project scope.
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Coordinate with Epic analysts, developers, and other IT staff to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
- Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Provide training and support to end-users.
- Monitor and evaluate project outcomes to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- PMP certification or equivalent project management experience.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience managing Epic Ambulatory projects.
- Strong understanding of Epic systems and healthcare workflows.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
- Master's degree in a related field.
- Epic Ambulatory certification.
- Experience with other Epic modules and healthcare IT systems.
