Job Title: Medical Assistant

Job Summary:

Dillman Clinic and Lab is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our dedicated healthcare team. Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Care: Provide hands-on assistance with patient examinations, treatments, and procedures, ensuring the highest standard of care and patient comfort.
• Clinical Support: Perform vital signs assessments, administer injections, prepare laboratory specimens, and assist with minor surgical procedures as needed.
• Patient Communication: Effectively communicate with patients regarding their medical concerns, answering questions, and ensuring they understand care plans and follow-up instructions.
• High-Quality Care Focus: Uphold the clinic's commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care at all times. Advocate for patients, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed promptly.
• Medical Documentation: Accurately record patient history, medical charts, and other essential information using the clinic's electronic health records (EHR) system.
• Lab Assistance: Assist with laboratory duties, including specimen collection, preparation, and processing.
• Administrative Tasks: Handle patient check-ins, appointment scheduling, and billing inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
• Collaborative Care: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated, team-based approach to patient care.
• Patient Safety and Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations and protocols.

Qualifications:

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a medical assistant program highly preferred.
• Previous experience in a clinic or laboratory setting is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on providing high-quality patient care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Proficiency in EHR systems and basic computer skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with compassion and professionalism.
