Location: Bossier Family Practice
Position: X-Ray Technician
Bossier Family Medicine is seeking an experienced, certified X-Ray Technician to join our physician-owned family medicine practice. This is a full-time position working in our outpatient radiology department.
Responsibilities:
- Operate radiographic equipment to produce x-ray images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes as ordered by physicians
- Position patients and provide instructions to ensure proper techniques are followed for producing optimal radiographic images
- Follow radiation safety standards and techniques to ensure safety of patients and staff
Qualifications:
- ARRT registry or registry eligible preferred. Current Louisiana license required.
- Proficiency with radiographic equipment, techniques, and procedures
- Knowledge of radiation safety protocols and regulations
- Basic computer skills for operating PACS imaging systems
