Position Summary
This position is directly involved in all daily warehouse operations. Responsible for the picking and packaging of sales orders, receiving inbound goods and facility maintenance.
This position requires interaction with freight carriers, fellow warehouse personnel, customer service and internal management.
This position requires the individual to be proficient and safe in the operation of various forklifts/MHE within the operation i.e. Sit Down Forklift, Stand-Up/Reach Forklift, Tugger etc.
Essential Functions and Duties
- Maintain files of maintenance and repair documents for material handling equipment in an accurate and timely manner.
- Complete safety checklists on all material handling equipment before each shift.
- Assist in the set up and preparation of picking isles, packing and processing stations. This may involve the assembly and stocking of shipping supplies and ensuring all areas involved are prepared for daily shipping processes.
- Pick products/quantities/lot numbers accurately and efficiently from bin locations according to assigned pick jobs for FFF customer orders.
- Package outbound FFF shipments according to established procedures to ensure the accuracy of the shipment and that it arrives damage free.
- Accurately process FFF orders through the SAP/ShipErp interface in accordance with established procedures.
- Assist in the unloading and staging of inbound FFF receipts, using appropriate material handling equipment.
- Assist in the loading of outbound FFF shipments. This involves the operation of various materials handling equipment.
- Assist in the transfer of products from high locations to low level locations.
- Work together with fellow warehouse personnel to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety.
- Comply with OSHA and other appropriate standards.
- Operate material handling equipment with extreme care keeping in mind the safety of oneself as well as others in the work area in accordance with company policy and OSHA Regulations.
- Continuously strive to improve processes, service quality to internal and external customers.
- Adheres specifically to all company policies and procedures, Federal and State regulations and laws.

Qualifications
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Required Experience:
- One (1) year minimum experience in warehouse environment.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in the medical industry a plus

- Must have strong organizational skills
- Must have a detail orientation and the proven ability to prioritize work
- Must have effective verbal and written communication skills
- Must have the ability to work with limited supervision and as part of a team

- Must be professional and have friendly customer service.
- Must have high level of responsibility to complete job accurately and on time.
- Must maintain a valid Forklift Certification.
- Must be proficient and safe in driving Stand-Up and Sit Down Forklifts.
- Must be able to consistently pass a company approved Forklift Competency test/evaluation.
Physical requirements
Vision, hearing, speech, movements requiring the use of wrists, hands and/or fingers. Must have the ability to view a computer screen for long periods and the ability to sit for extended periods. Must have the ability to work the hours and days required to complete the essential functions of the position, as scheduled. The employee occasionally lifts up to 50 lbs. and occasionally kneels and bends. Working condition include warehouse setting.

Learning, thinking, concentration and the ability to work under pressure, particularly during busy times. Must be able to pay close attention to detail and be able to work as a member of a team to ensure excellent customer service. Must have the ability to interact effectively with co-workers and customers, and exercise self-control and diplomacy in customer and employee relations’ situations. Must have the ability to exercise discretion as well as appropriate judgments when necessary. Must be proactive in finding solutions.
