The Bay Area's best-known search engine giant is seeking a UI Designer to assist their team.
This role will be hybrid/onsite, three days a week. The team is in Mountain View and the office is public transportation accessible via company shuttle.
Top Responsibilities for UI Designer:
-Develop high level and/or detailed storyboards, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
-Responsible for crafting visually stunning, user-friendly, and highly functional interfaces for our diverse product portfolio (AI, B2B, B2C, consumer products).
-You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers to translate complex concepts into intuitive and engaging experiences.
-This role requires a deep understanding of design principles and a passion for pushing the boundaries of what is possible.
Ideal Qualifications for UI Designer:
-Bachelor's degree in Design (e.g., Interaction, Graphic, Visual Communications, Product, Industrial), Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
-Minimum 5 years of experience in UI graphic design, preferably in a technology company setting.
-Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional UI design skills and a deep understanding of user-centered design principles.
-Expertise: Experience with industry standard design tools (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, InVisio, Figma, Principle, etc.).
-Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team.
-Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively and strategically.
-Passion: A passion for creating beautiful and user-friendly interfaces that delight users.
