SUMMARY:
The TM Sales Consultant delivers legal banking expertise to clients, prospects and associates. This role will serve as a liaison between clients and prospects, the sales team and the product development team to develop and implement treasury solutions that streamline settlement processes, enhance cash management, and ensure compliance with legal and financial requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience in legal settlement workflows, Escrow services, legal banking treasury systems, project management, risk management along with a proven ability to deliver client-centric solutions and sales results. This role is responsible for working under the direction of the TM Sales Manager to achieve market sales, revenue and profitability objectives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The TM Sales Consultant (TMSC) has responsibility for individual sales contributions while supporting the legal banking team. They will work to formulate strong internal and external partnerships to position First Horizon as a leader within the industry. They will work within all areas of the TM Services organization including bank operational, technology and market leadership to aid in maintaining/growing the Bank’s prospect and client sales opportunities. The person will have a total view and ability to communicate factors around specific benefits and risks associated with the products in their solution suite. The TMSC will conduct client and market education, analyze competitive and market forces, provide ongoing critical feedback of the assessment of internal opportunities/challenges, and will work with TM Sales, Product, Implementations, Operations and Technology teams to ensure timely and accurate sales fulfillment. List of critical knowledge/skills: The position will be closely tied to the TM Sales Manager (as a direct report and partner), Product Managers within the TM Product group, the TM Implementation Manager and all Regional Sales Leaders within our team. The person will have significant emphasis around sales, training, communication and market execution to ensure sales goals are exceeded. The position requires strong analytical skills, a collaborative work style, an ability to interface with both executives and peers across the organization.
