Our pet retail client is seeking a Trade Show Coordinator to join their team. This is a freelance, hybrid to possible full-time at 40 hours a week in Austin, TX. The desired start date is for the late October, early November.

Pay is $25-$30/hr.

The candidate must local to Austin or the surrounding areas so they can attend events as well as come into the offices twice a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays) from 10am-2pm (lunch provided on those days).

The ideal Trade Show Coordinator will be responsible for executing and working trade show events and open houses, supporting the sales and marketing team, and planning the schedule for events.

Trade Show Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Coordinate logistics for trade shows, open houses and events
- Manage vendors and contracts for event space
- Insure all displays are shipped on time
- Serve as organizer and project manager
- Communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders the expectations and deadlines for multiple shows

Trade Show Coordinator Requirements:
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience supporting trade show logistics
- Experience working in event planning and project management software
- Experience working in corporate events
- Retail tradeshow or event experience
- Willingness to work on site at event and on rare occasions weekends
- Excellent communication/organizational skills and the ability to speak to specific examples
