Our Sports Retail Client is looking for a Trade Marketing Specialist to join their team in Portland, OR (hybrid 3 days in office, 2 days remote). As a Trade Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and executing a cohesive channel strategy to drive brand advocacy and conversion for our key products. This role reports directly to the Manager of Trade Marketing and will work closely with Marketplace Merchandising, Brand Communications, Concepts & Production, and Key Account Management teams.

Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Business Unit and Sales teams to create seasonal account plans, timelines, and deliverables for each account.
Execute marketing plans with accounts to drive brand advocacy and conversion.
Represent and advocate for accounts within the Brand team, briefing and collaborating with Category Communications teams for all account needs.
Manage budgets for account projects and ensure creative and cost efficiencies.
Own timelines and communication with account plans and tool-building, proactively solving issues and holding stakeholders accountable.
Brief necessary Global functions and drive creation of any additional Market retail marketing needs.
Ensure adherence to the Global/Market Brand Calendar and prioritize campaigns and stories accordingly.
Provide regular feedback and best practice sharing with Global counterparts.
Report on timeliness of deliverables and performance of wholesale trade marketing initiatives.

Requirements:
Progressive experience in brand marketing and/or sales, preferably in wholesale and the sporting goods industry.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in consumer products, creative agency, and/or project management.
Experience creating, building, and executing on activation plans
