Volt is immediately hiring for a Thin Film Coating Inspector in Charlotte, NC.

As an Inspector, you will:

Inspect uncoated and coated parts for cosmetic defects
Clean and fixture all standard products
Strip coatings off all standard products with minimal etching reject
Clean and maintain tooling after coating runs
Participate in the Housekeeping and Tooling rotation
Complete all associated process documentation
Work with process improvement teams

This is a full-time opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:

High School Diploma or equivalent
Able to work with small parts - visual acuity and manual dexterity skills are required for handling laser rods
Able to inspect parts using a stereo-inspection microscope
Able to operate equipment without supervision
Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and attention to detail
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word are desired
Regular, punctual attendance is required
Unscheduled overtime and/or shift flexibility may be required

Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
