Tenure Track Assistant Professor of Graphic Design
The Eskenazi School of Art Architecture + Design at Indiana University Bloomington invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position with rank of Assistant/Associate Professor in Graphic Design, to begin August 1, 2025. The responsibilities of this position include creative work and research requirements consistent with tenure expectations; teaching graphic design at the undergraduate and graduate levels; and service requirements such as committee work, faculty supervision, and/or administration of the Graphic Design area. The candidate must demonstrate proficiency in graphic design across a range of digital and print interfaces, including screens of all sizes and formats, as well as expertise in computer programs and emerging technologies for graphic and interactive design. Preference will be given to candidates with professional experience in the field, teaching experience, and contribution to diversity. We seek candidates who can provide collegial initiative in a team-based environment. A strong candidate will have demonstrated an ability to work successfully with students, faculty, administration, and the community. Successful candidates will teach four courses during a 10-month academic year.

Qualifications
Qualified candidates must hold an MFA or equivalent terminal degree and have at least two years of college-level teaching experience, with a preference for those with experience beyond graduate-level teaching assistantship. Evidence of an active record of professional achievement which may include exhibition, publication, presentations, or lectures is principal.
