Responsibilities:

• Works with MFAH Volunteer Services staff to coordinate and assists with supervision of volunteers assigned to various holiday activities and events.
• Assists directly with Volunteer Services to execute and prep all supplies for the MFAH Holiday Parties
• At Christmas Village, help greet guests, explain the activities, monitor activity materials, and answer questions as appropriate. The activity stations include outdoor games, a cotton snowball toss area, music-making hand bell stations, a holiday movie theater, and a downhill sled slide.
• Motivates, encourages and recognizes volunteers through words of encouragement, breaks, rewards or other appropriate methods.
• Assists Volunteer Services with onboarding volunteers nightly at Christmas Village.
• Other duties as assigned

• Flexible schedule with ability to work outside of “normal” workday as needed, primarily evenings during the month of December.

Education and Experience:

• Event coordinating experience a plus
