Job Overview

The Tailored Clothing Coordinator drives sales, profitability, and enhances customer experience by leading strategies for specialized selling and elevated merchandise execution. They support Division and Store Leadership teams by clearly communicating priorities, identifying opportunities, and sharing best practices. The Coordinator champions service excellence through training, empowering colleagues to excel in Tailored Clothing. Acting as a liaison between the store and central merchant teams, they provide product insights on assortment, pricing, and fit. Reporting to the Senior Director of Regional Merchandise Execution, this role ensures seamless coordination and execution of tailored clothing initiatives.

What You Will Do

  • Collaborate with Regional Merchandise Execution Senior Directors, DVPs, and Store partners to support growth in Tailored Clothing across stores.
  • Build strong partnerships with Stylists, CXCs, and Ambassadors to drive all selling metrics, including SalesFloor, MyClient, and the Top Seller Program.
  • Lead and participate in event execution, including corporate, promotional, brand launches, and virtual events. 
  • Work with Store and Division partners to plan and execute both in-store and virtual events.
  • Take initiative and collaborate with the Specialized Selling Team to develop selling, product, and execution training resources.
  • Schedule and attend regular meetings with the central buying team to provide consistent feedback on product assortment, fit, operations, and pricing strategies based on business priorities.
  • Accompany central partners during store visits to offer customer and business insights.
  • Support stores by partnering with Store Managers and People Leaders to schedule Coordinator store visits based on business needs.
  • Communicate clear execution priorities, strategies, and direction to Division and Store teams based on national execution guidelines and standards. 
  • Utilize written, in-person, and virtual communication tailored to the appropriate audience.
  • Host and support multi-brand training seminars and workshops focusing on product knowledge, selling effectiveness, and merchandise execution.
  • Influence merchandise space and location by sharing business results and feedback with People Leaders and Store partners.
  • Conduct ongoing business analysis using Power BI to maximize success and identify opportunities by location and Division.
  • Effectively communicate the execution and completion of all RTVs/Suit Transfers to designated doors.
  • Observe and evaluate competitive opportunities; communicate findings to central and regional teams.
  • Ensure regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Skills You Will Need

Sales Leadership: Ability to drive sales and profitability through specialized selling strategies and elevated merchandise execution.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey priorities, strategies, and feedback to Division and Store teams.

Partnership Building: Strong capability to build partnerships with Stylists, CXCs, Ambassadors, and central merchant teams to drive selling metrics and enhance customer experience.

Event Management: Experience in leading and participating in various event executions, including corporate, promotional, and virtual events.

Training and Development: Skill in developing training resources and empowering colleagues to excel in Tailored Clothing.

Analytical Skills: Ability to conduct business analysis using tools like Power BI to maximize success and identify opportunities.

Merchandising Insight: Understanding of product assortment, pricing strategies, and fit to provide valuable insights and recommendations.

Leadership and Coordination: Strong leadership profile with excellent negotiation skills to influence merchandise space and location effectively.

  • Candidates with a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field are encouraged to apply. 1-2 years of management experience with demonstrated merchandising skills preferred. 
  • This position requires heavy lifting, constant moving, standing, and reaching with arms and hands. Involves standing for at least two consecutive hours, lifting at least 30 lbs. stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders. May involve reaching above eye level. Requires close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on department and company needs.
  • Able to travel: 75% or 4-5 days per week.
