Lockheed Martin is looking for a dynamic Systems Engineering associate in the Space Protection Program portfolio. In this role, you will:
* Perform Program Systems Engineering verification tasks
* Provide input to a Systems Engineering team to include full Systems Engineering lifecycle processes, from architecture and requirements development through system operations and integration
* Collaborate with government and customer representatives in support of critical space-based daily operations and distributed multi-element deliveries and activities
* Perform technical planning, system integration, validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems
Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline
or equivalent experience/combined education
* Systems Engineering process knowledge or
experience of test and verification process
* Demonstrated ability to work with multiple
engineering disciplines to identify technical product
characteristics to develop requirements specifications
* Ability to obtain Top Secret or SCI clearance
Desired Skills:
* Familiarity with general Space Protection missions
and concepts
* Experience with Class C/D space program
development
* Experience of Systems Engineering life cycle process
and tools
* Experience in Space Vehicle Test and Verification
procedures, tools and data evaluation
* Experience with SW test procedures, data review
tools
* Experience in Avionics subsystem design and
operations
* DOORS or similar tool for requirements management
* Demonstrated behaviors of a systems thinker;
selects and applies appropriate systems thinking skills
to solve very complex problems and implement
constructive change
* Ability to obtain TS/SCI with Poly

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $55,300 - $106,000. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
