Overview
The Sr. Specialist is a member of the Leave, Accommodation, & HR Field Support Team within the Talent Operations & Planning department. This role will act as a flexible and adaptive team member, capable of providing immediate support across various functions of work, including leave of absence programs, ADA administration, team projects including Staff handbooks, and overall team process enhancement. This role requires a proactive approach to assist in multiple areas as needed, ensuring seamless operations and continuous improvement. This role will be cross-trained and responsible for supporting four key audiences including Chick-fil-A, Inc. Staff, Field Staff, Company Owned Restaurant Team Members, and STC Brand Team Members.

Responsibilities
- Support the administration of disability and leave management programs, including FMLA, ADA, Worker's Compensation, state/local leave offerings, and company-paid leave programs. Ensure consistent and compliant administration across the organization, leveraging expertise to guide decision making and ensure appropriate communication to employees and key business partners.
- Work closely with Lead Advisors and Team Leader to understand process challenges and gaps and proactively recommend effective solutions.
- Develop and implement communication strategies to proactively inform employees of available leave options and accommodations. Assist employees in understanding their rights and the processes involved, ensuring clear and supportive guidance.
- Lead the creation and delivery of knowledge management and training resources, aiming to build a fully cross-trained team able to effectively scale work with increased volume and complexity. Facilitate team training sessions, sharing knowledge, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to innovate and streamline processes. Recommend technology and/or system enhancements and vendor selections and adjustments to optimize program administration and improve overall team efficiency.
- Lead special projects, including the implementation of an outsourced future state. Support the team through change management and implementation phases, ensuring smooth transitions and successful project outcomes.
- Manage all communication and change management resources on @CFA and through other internal communication channels.
- Partner with key stakeholders to update benefits and policies across the organization's 8 Staff handbooks on an annual basis. Ensure that updates are accurately reflected and communicated across the business.
- Continue to evolve Staff handbooks to support a better Staff experience and to scale handbook work as federal, state, and company policies continue to change over time.
- Identify and engage appropriate stakeholders based on situational needs and confidentiality requirements. Ensure timely and effective communication to support decision-making processes.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalency
- 1+ years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of FMLA, ADA, and Benefits Administration
