Position Summary:The Sr. Merchandising Specialist II will report to the Director of Merchandising & Pricing and will improve our merchandise mix and pricing decision making for assigned business lines.Their focus will be on improving our merchandiseoffering and pricing to improve AOV,participation, improving overall regular pricebusiness and decreasing discount utilization.They will partner with Marketing, Planning,Analytics and Photography to align on strategicdeliverables.Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Improved merchandise mix throughthe introduction of new items, newpackages, and background choices
- Data driven decision maker.Working closely with analytics tounderstand price elasticity andwhat improvements to make todrive stronger AOV and participation
- Manage each Sub Program process from LY review, define pricing and product for upcoming season, execute with internal partners all updates to programs and monitor in season for any updates needed
- Working closely with Marketing andProduct on site merchandising toimprove orders per customer
- Determine Seasonal tests toimprove merchandising and pricingoffering
- Coordinate execution of pricing,products with engineering, marketing, and data set-up teams
- Review competition to stay aheadand improve value to our customers
- Develop Merchandise Offering forassigned categories (items, add onoffers, bundles)- in season, nextseason
- Pricing decision for all products,bundles for assigned business lines
- Work with Creative design partners for newand updated product designs for each program
- Work with photography & Market research teams ondefine and develop new backgrounds to add to the mix
- The ability to analyze data and think creatively to develop sound recommendations and solution to achieve strategic business goals
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and assignments
- Adept in anticipating, assessing, and translating customer needs into actionable tactics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient at interpreting and applying key analytical findings to support major merchandising strategy decisions
- Experience in development and delivery of presentations to a variety of internal audiences: peers, leadership, and field offices
- Knowledge of and the ability to lead merchandising test projects to refine and optimize the pricing and packaging for our business lines
- Experience with financial budgeting, tracking, and reporting
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (e.g., Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
