Job Overview
Role is responsible for developing, refining, evaluating, and implementing continuous improvement strategies for front line selling roles, namely Sales Account Managers and Bulk Account Merchandisers, that are implemented by a field team dedicated to coaching these sales roles. Role also plays a key role working with CONA’s myCoke team, other CONA leadership and CCCI leaders to ensure tools evolve to meet the changing needs of the sales organization. Role collaborates with corporate and MU leadership and Customer Connection Hub Leadership to ensure sales strategies are effective and provides recommendations on changes as needed.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Coach, teach and train his team to ensure front line sales roles (ex. Sales Account Managers and Bulk Account Merchandisers) are fully trained and effective. This includes ongoing development of compelling training content.
- Collaborate with senior level leaders at corporate, Customer Connection HUB, in the market units, and at customers on business challenges to inform new operational strategies or modifications to existing ones for selling focused roles.
- Partner with CONA, internal resources and other vendors to ensure operational tools and systems meet current business needs as well as develop roadmaps for future functionality.
- Collaborate with and influence other functional areas on any necessary business support and solutions required as part of the operational projects and to support our One Team Strategy.
- Partner with other bottlers and other relevant industries to learn about changing market conditions and each group’s respective business strategies.
- Maintain a forward-thinking lens and perspective on Go to Market Strategy including the evolution of current and future roles.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Sales & Operations field experience
- Project Management Experience
- Strong Analytical Skills, Influencing Skills, Collaborating, Managerial Courage, Action Orientation, Strategic Thinking, Continuous Improvement and Presentation Skills (Sr. Leaders and Other Bottler Leadership).
Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED with 7 or more years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications
- College degree or commensurate experience in Beverage Sales & Operations, preferably Coca-Cola or the beverage industry
