YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
  • 6+ years of Systems Engineering in Aerospace experience.

WE VALUE

  • Knowledge of Guidance & Navigation systems highly preferred
  • Understanding of MIL-STD-1553 highly preferred
  • GPS experience highly preferred
  • Degree in Systems, Aerospace, Electrical, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering
  • Knowledge of the systems development lifecycle
  • Individual that can quickly analyze, incorporate and apply new information and concepts
  • Diverse and global teaming and collaboration
  • Ability to communicate with individuals at all levels in the organization
  • Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done
  • Ability to adapt to change with ease
  • DoD experience a plus.
  • Knowledge of CCA development/test, RS-422, Ethernet and/or ARINC 429 Serial Data Bus a plus.
  • 6-Sigma certification or the ability to obtain certification within one year of hire.

THE BUSINESS UNIT

Mechanical Systems & Components provides a wide range of mechanical products and value-adding services to Honeywell Aerospace customers, including aircraft manufacturers and operators, and agencies of the U.S. government. The business develops and manufactures air and thermal systems, mechanical components, and wheels and braking systems. It also manages and operates facilities for the Federal government. Every 5 seconds, an aircraft lands with Honeywell Wheels and brakes. The entire fleet of U.S military fighters and trainers use Honeywell Cabin Pressure Systems.
