Primary leadership role responsible for development, coordination, communication and publishing of commercial/merchandising training to align with formally approved company direction. Process includes identifying the most effective method for training and communicating the policy/process to ensure proper awareness and compliance.
Our flexible/ hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at our core locations in Salisbury and 2 remote days.
Essential job functions:
- Develop and maintain training handbooks, tool kits, resource guides and SOPs for all areas of commercial.
- Create and Maintain SOPs or determined relevant training programs and guides as collaboratively agreed upon by this role, the CI Lead and key stakeholders.
- Ensure alignment and adherence to control guidelines for all training programs developed.
- Translate complex concepts into easily understandable language & drive simplicity. Writing/communication style to target merchandising level associates.
- Support the development and execution of all training events providing logistical, process and documentation support to facilitate business subject matter experts.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivilant work experience
- 1-3 years experience in grocery catagory preferred.
- Demonstrate ability to effectively present information to diverse audiances.
- Requires strong public speaking skills and experience in facilitating meetings.
- Preferred 1-3 years' experience in training and developing others, and/or designing solutions to enable learning
- Proven project management experience, adept at working under tight deadlines and managing multiple, concurrent projects.
- Motivated, dependable and self-directed with experience creating and recommending solutions for opportunities.
- Exceptional oral and written communications skills, with the ability to gather and synthesize information from a variety of sources.
- Knowledge of adult learning and instructional design methodologies
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- This role will require up to 50% travel, and time on the road overnight often.
