Lockheed Martin Space in Boulder, CO is seeking a full-time Early Career Software Engineer on the Software, Systems, Cyber, and Operations (S2CO) Team. S2CO develops, delivers, and operates affordable engineering and sustainment solutions for commercial, military and intelligence users across the globe. The team develops creative enterprise, cloud and application-based solutions for mission management, command and control, collection orchestration and tasking, processing, data analysis and analytics along with premier operations and sustainment capabilities of space- based programs in support of national security. This exciting engineering position is with the Real-time Transfer Service (RTS) team in Boulder, Colorado. The successful candidate will excel working as part of a technical team of software engineers whom successfully design, code, integrate, test and deploy complex systems to the customer. This position will be responsible for contributing to detailed design, coding new content and bug fixes, contributing to unit testing, automating unit testing where possible, and contributing to integration testing as needed. The candidate will be comfortable in an ever-changing dynamic environment and work well in an agile team.

Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:
- Enrolled in a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Systems, Software Engineering, or related degree.

- Ability to obtain TS/SCI security clearance required
Desired Skills:
- Strong interest and experience in developing with C++ and Python as well as learning and developing new SW related skills.

- Must have good communication skills, be able to effectively work in a team environment, capable of solving complex problems, and be able to focus on understanding capabilities at a system level and delivering complete products.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $57,800 - $110,800. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
