Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a full-time Early Career Software Engineer. In this role, you will create Web-based and Java mission systems for the Intelligence, Global Strike, and Nuclear Planning communities. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of software development, automated testing, design, defect correction, and interaction with systems engineers, architects, scrum masters, product owners, and end users. Must be a US Citizen. This position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:
- BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent STEM field (equivalent experience/combined education)
- Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access
- Ability to develop Web or Java code in an Agile / DevSecOps team environment.
Desired Skills:
- Familiarity with development tooling Eclipse, Jenkins, GitLab, Gradle, GIT, JUnit, Selenium, JIRA
- Experience with JavaScript Frameworks / Libraries (React/Angular/Vue), CSS, and HTML
- Experience with Web Services (REST) or JSON/XML.
- Experience with AI / ML Methodologies

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
