Full Job Description

Description:The selected candidate will be supporting the Signals Reconnaissance Program in all phases of the software development life cycle.
What You Will Be Doing
This individual will be executing software development and programming in Java and C/C++ in a team environment
Support multiple projects or task orders for the various products developed by this program such as the core products CETS (signal processing system), MSCS (theater situational awareness), and SEAM (sensor asset management).
The selected candidate will be expected to travel to Air Force sites for software installations/maintenance and will need to become Security+ certified.
The selected candidate will also collaborate closely with project management, systems engineers, systems integration and test engineers as well as fellow software engineers.
Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Basic Qualifications:
- Experience developing software in JAVA
- Object oriented design and programming experience
- Experience with the full software development cycle
- Experience with Linux/Unix based systems
- Ability to collaborate with a team of developers
- Experience in agile-based software development methodologies
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and oral
- Ability to obtain a DoD Interim Secret Security Clearance and up to a TS/SCI.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with Software Integration and Test
- Experience with Third-party libraries
- Experience with Multithreaded processes and multi-process applications
- Experience with Network programming
- Experience with Client-server architecture
- Experience with Ansible, Puppet, Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, Rancher
- Experience with Infrastructure as code
- Experience with Enterprise architecture and distributed computing
- Experience with either Relational or NoSQL databases
- Experience with J2EE and web services
- Experience with Virtual Machines, packaging, jumpstart/kickstarts
- Additionally Spring boot, Microservices, Swagger, Nifi, Kafka, Containers, Virtualization, Git, Gitlab, VSCode, JIRA, Confluence, and Agile is a plus
- Field experience with Air Force distributed ground systems including ELINT, COMINT, IMINT, Link-16
- Have a working understanding of LM software development plans and processes
- Security Plus certification or equivalent considered a plus
- Previous experience on the Signals Reconnaissance Program considered a plus
- TS/SCI considered a plus
- Willing to travel

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $70,500 - $135,000 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
