Job Title: Software Engineer
Location: Hybrid - Merrifield, VA (2 days on site)
Engagement: 6-month Contract-to-Hire (CTH)
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our team in Merrifield, VA, supporting USPS . This hybrid role requires on-site presence for 2 days a week and offers a 6-month contract-to-hire engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and support long-term postal automation control software.
- Perform configuration management and software development support.
- Utilize UNIX-like real-time operating systems.
- Work with Eclipse-like IDE, GNU compiler, debugging tools, and Git for version management.
- Support additional application development projects using C++, C# on Windows, and Python.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in C code development.
- Experience with UNIX-like real-time operating systems.
- Proficiency with Eclipse-like IDE, GNU compiler, debugging tools, and Git.
- Additional skills in C++, C# on Windows, and Python are beneficial.
Compensation:
- Hourly Rate: Up to $55/hour
- Conversion Salary: $110,000 annually
