Full Job Description

As a Shipping and Receiving Manager here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient flow of goods, products, and materials within our aerospace supply chain. You will report directly to our Supply Chain Director and you will work out of our Redmond, WA location. In this role, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and accurate receipt, storage, and shipment of materials. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize logistics operations, minimize lead times, and reduce transportation costs. Your expertise in shaping transportation strategies and negotiating carrier contracts will contribute to the overall efficiency of our supply chain.

Pay Transparency

The annual base salary range for this position $48,000. - $54,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

Monday- Friday- 8am- 4:30pm

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Oversee the shipping and receiving operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of materials

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize logistics operations and minimize lead times

* Shape transportation strategies and negotiate carrier contracts to secure favorable terms and conditions

* Implement advanced shipping and distribution processes to reduce transportation costs

* Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the efficiency of distribution processes

* Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices to maintain a competitive edge

* Provide strategic reports to senior management on cost-saving opportunities and process improvements

MUST HAVE

  • 3+ years of experience in shipping and receiving or related roles
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory
  • Proficiency in using shipping and inventory management software
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office

  • Forklift certification or experience operating material handling equipment
