Job Description

In this role, you will be instrumental in driving the successful launch of innovative service solutions across multiple products and capabilities, as part of the new integrated Hospital Patient Monitoring (HPM) Launch Excellence Process.

This global position requires a leader with a deep understanding of software-driven solutions, who can collaborate with service leaders, business functions, the Services COE, and regional organizations to ensure our offerings integrate seamlessly with Philips' global digital platforms. As we pivot towards more software-centric services, your expertise will be crucial in meeting and exceeding the needs of regions and end-customers, positioning Philips as the partner of choice. This role can be based in either Böblingen, Germany, Eindhoven, Netherlands or Cambridge, USA.

Your role:

1. Services Delivery Assessment (before RFA):

  • Define the global, solution-related service delivery and capability strategy.

  • Focus on identifying and implementing substantial changes or impacts to existing strategies and standard work processes.

  • Drive initiatives to reduce the cost to serve (MCOS).

  • Deliverable: Business Record outlining the Service Delivery Strategy.

2. Market Conditioning/Readiness Feedback Loop (RFA):

  • Assess the resources and capabilities of Regional SSDs (Service Solution Delivery) and identify any gaps.

  • Address capacity gaps through Business Market Collaboration (BMC) dialogues.

  • Deliverable: QMS (Quality Management System) records, including CSP (Customer Service Plan) and FRP (Field Readiness Plan).

3. Deploy New Capabilities - Process, Tools, Skills (x months before RfS):

  • Roll out new processes and tools and execute training for all resources involved in the launch phase.

  • Confirm the delivery and serviceability of solutions, including standard integration testing.

  • Establish and validate work instructions within the R&D System lab and at the First-of-a-Kind (FOK) customer test environment.

  • Support the activation and ramp-up of new Regions/Zones with focused integration testing, both in-house and at customer sites.

4. Launch (RfS):

  • Lead a cross-functional team, including R&D, Business Category, BISD (Business Information Systems Division), and Regional Commercial & SSD teams, to support the first deliveries in each Region/Zone.

  • Ensure smooth and successful integration and delivery of solutions, meeting regional and end-customer needs.

You are the right fit if:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Informatics, Business, or Healthcare) is required

  • An advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is beneficial

  • Extensive experience in service delivery, solution integration, and launch processes within a global, matrixed organization.

  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and driving successful software-driven service launches in complex environments.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.

  • Strong background in assessing and deploying service delivery strategies across multiple regions and zones.
