This position will support our Trachte facilities in Madison and Oregon, WI. As a part of nVent, Trachte is a leading manufacturer of highly engineered metal buildings for industrial and commercial applications. Today, nVent connects and protects our customers with inventive electrical solutions. We design, manufacture, market, install and service high performance products and solutions for mission-critical equipment, buildings and essential processes. Offering both prefabricated and on-site building capabilities, framed and frameless building construction types, and products ranging from build kits and modular units to fully engineered integrated buildings.

  • Ensures service requests are handled with urgency and are prioritized to meet the needs of our customers. Initiates corrective actions as necessary to help improve the quality and service of our product.
  • Determines scope and coordinates the scheduling of service, including manpower and safety requirements, with field crews and outside contractors, engineering, purchasing, and operations.
  • Follows up on customer satisfaction of service provided including the performance of field crews and outside contractors hired for service jobs and provides training and critique, as necessary.
  • Performs general clerical tasks such as filing, proofing data, approving timesheets and invoices, receiving and /or conveying information along with ensuring all service documentation is current and applicable.
  • Examines estimates of transportation & site services, performance requirements, & delivery schedules to ensure completeness & accuracy.
  • Compiles required data for preparing estimates and bids, process specifications, progress reports, & other necessary items.
  • Acts as liaison between Trachte and subcontractors.
  • Associates degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, 5 years related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Sound electrical knowledge and/or experience is required.
  • Strong problem solving, planning and advanced organizational skills.
  • Customer service oriented, professional demeanor with the ability to develop & maintain internal and external relationships.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong PC Skills (MS Word, Excel, and Outlook) are required.
