About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst as part of the Center of Quality's Quality Control team within Wholesale Lending Operations. Once a loan is entered into the system of origin, this team is responsible for reviewing data elements and legal documentation to ensure accuracy. The Senior QA Analyst will be responsible for reviewing actions, transactions, documentation, processes and programs to ensure quality standards are met, relevant controls are followed and executed, and deficiencies are identified and addressed. This will include leading audit walk-throughs, updating procedures and providing training.


In this role, you will:

  • Utilize practices to perform advanced quality assurance and self-assurance activities including comprehensive reviews of multiple types of executive office transactions and case review quality assurance activities in support of federal, state, agency, legal and regulatory requirements

  • Perform advanced, comprehensive regulatory or high risk reviews of multiple types of executive resolution transactions and case reviews within multiple inventory types

  • Identify risk and problem areas and recommend improvement

  • Evaluate case intake, distribution, research, communication and resolution

  • Ensure customer issues are addressed while maintaining compliance with internal company requirements and standards and agency or government regulations

  • Ensure identified risks or problems are clearly documented and interact with appropriate parties for timely resolution

  • Perform second-level reviews

  • Mentor less experienced colleagues and assist with their development

  • Ensure corrective action on exceptions and problems identified

  • Provide guidance to team regarding documentation and resolution requirements

  • Communicate overall process or transaction quality

  • Provide feedback to appropriate contacts regarding identified material deficiencies or issues including identification of inconsistencies


Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Quality Assurance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Auditing experience

  • Demonstrated experience working with auditors, regulators, and/or testing teams including experience crafting risk-based responses for any findings

  • Familiarity working with systems like Loan IQ to be comfortable testing tools for accuracy and regulation compliance

  • Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities

  • Ability to develop partnerships and collaborate with other business and functional areas

  • Exceptional organization, analysis, and problem resolution skills to research and compile critical operational data solutions

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skill

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills

Job Expectations:

  • Ability to work a hybrid schedule

  • Willingness to work on-site at stated location on the job opening
