About This Opportunity
OVERVIEW
Provide Strategic pricing guidance and sales/units modeling to Product Directors and Category Managers to ensure pricing is aligned with company strategy and to aid in meeting or exceeding company sales and profitability goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain product pricing architecture to maintain alignment of pricing and product families.
- Analyze historical financial data, cost structures, and industry trends to provide informed recommendations for pricing decisions.
- Gather and review competitive pricing data to develop strategic pricing recommendations.
- Model, evaluate and verify price change recommendations and iterate the modeling process with internal data to refine predictability of price change outcomes.
- Collaborate and align with other cross functional teams to support Merch and Ops. Must be able to defend your point of view and influence decision makers to ensure pricing changes have positive effects on overall profitability and the company's financial health.
- Support pricing execution, leveraging several pricing platforms along with efficient communication to various other internal teams for seamless execution.
- Participate in Product Director Staff meetings as a representative of the Strategic Pricing Team
- Support and mentor fellow analysts, fostering their professional growth and development within the team.
- Education: Bachelors/4 Year Degree.
- Experience: 5 + years, Pricing Strategy or Business Analysis.
- Expert knowledge of Excel.
- Should consistently deliver quality outputs in a high paced and dynamic environment, with an ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Ability to write reports and/or business correspondence in a clear concise manner.
