The Opportunity
Hyatt seeks a driven and strategic senior manager of standards transformation to join our global Franchise and owner Relations Group (FORG). In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams that impact standards, including Franchise Operations, Brands, and Procurement. The Role
We are seeking a Senior Manager, Standards Transformation to lead a comprehensive overhaul of how our global brand standards are housed, managed, and governed. This role will evaluate current standards (and systems that support them) across all of Hyatt’s brands, contribute to a new strategy, and lead the implementation/project management efforts to ensure greater clarity, accessibility, and scalability. This person will work closely with a cross-functional team, including those responsible for Hyatt’s Global Quality Assurance Program, in which standards are validated. Additionally, the Sr. Manager will develop a governance process to ensure greater rigor and adherence to global standards across the enterprise, as part of the transformation. This role will be Chicago-based.
- Conduct diagnostic on baseline standards and systems, synthesizing and communicating findings to key stakeholders.
- Engage with multiple stakeholders to define the path forward to achieve the future strategy for standards.
- Develop timelines and key milestones to facilitate the migration of standards, systems, or processes, as outlined in the new “standards strategy.”
- Project manage migration of identified standards, systems, or processes in alignment with the new “standards strategy.”
- Serve as a subject matter expert on standards, systems, and processes.
- Design and implement a governance structure to support the development and review of global standards.
- Manage relationships with key partners contributing to standards across various brands.
- Lead the RFP process (as necessary) to select new tools in support of the “standards strategy.”
Qualifications
Experience Preferred:
•Experience in hospitality or a related field.
•Experience in a consultative role to senior leadership.
•Has worked in a corporate environment and managed multi-functioned projects.
•Record of influencing the UX design of a technical tool or resource.
