In this role, you will:
Lead or participate in high level technical concepts spanning technology and business
Develop specifications for complex infrastructure systems, design and test solutions
Contribute to the testing of business, application and technical infrastructure requirements
Drive solutions to reduce recovery
Review and analyze solutions for cloud security, secrets management and key rotations
Design, code, test, debug and document programs using Agile development practices
Design complex system upgrades
Resolve troublesome trends as they develop
Develop a long range plan designed to resolve problems and prevent them from recurring
Direct the daily risk and control flow of operations, focusing on policies, procedures and
work standards to ensure success
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Required Qualifications, US:
4+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
3+ years of application production support experience supporting web applications running in a Linux environment on webservers including Apache, application servers including Tomcat, and load balancers including F5 LTM & AVI migration.
3+ years of technical troubleshooting experience using monitoring tools such as AppDynamics, Splunk, Grafana, Glassbox, publishing and maintaining technical documentation.
3+ years of experience leading multiple implementations and supporting changes to
production utilizing CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and uDeploy.
3+ years of scripting and automation experience
3+ years Application modernization and data center migration
3+ year of migrating legacy applications to pivotal cloud foundry and other Cloud platforms
4+ year experience in completing BCP activities
3+ years of Kafka messaging, Apache Tomcat
3+ years Thousand Eyes and Synthetic Monitoring
2+ year of experience in Kubernetes, OpenShift
4+ years of Web Services experience
4+ years of Perl or Shell experience
Desired Qualifications:
4+ years of experience with Agile, Kanban, or Lean methodology Practical knowledge of ITIL application processes and implementation
Experience with Ansible automation tool
Knowledge and understanding of Cloud computing, PaaS design principles and micro services and containers
Experience with Agile Scrum (Daily Standup, Sprint Planning and Sprint Retrospective meetings) and Kanban
JIRA experience
Experience 1+ year of experience with in-memory databases such as Redis, MongoDB, or Cassandra
Advanced scripting skills specifically around automation, log rotation, data collection, error collection and alerting
Ability to influence and build relationships with LOB stakeholders, technology CIO leadership, external service providers, and architecture teams
Ability to communicate confidentially and professionally
Experience building partnerships and consulting effectively with leadership
Ability to influence and collaborate at all internal organizational levels
Experience 1+ year of Microsoft Windows 2012-16 Server support experience
Job Expectations:
Ability to work on call as assigned
Ability to work additional hours as needed
Flexibility to work in a 24/7 environment
Work on site Irving, TX.
