We are currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for our FishHawk, Florida location. The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for supporting the coordination, preparation and analysis of financial information to support the North American Supply Chain function. Responsibilities will include budgeting, forecasting and reporting; providing financial and analytical decision support; facilitating / supporting other process improvement activities; identifying opportunities to automate and streamline the relevant supply chain reporting; and preparing various ad hoc analyses. This position will be responsible for directly supporting supply chain strategy by helping the business understand the financial implications of proposed initiatives and solutions.
What will you do?
Work with the Supply Chain leadership to support various new and on-going strategic initiatives by driving the development of complex cash flow models and analysis to support on-going improvements of the supply chain network. Based on extensive modeling, analysis and supply chain knowledge the Sr. Financial Analyst will develop recommendations and solutions by continually challenging the status quo to continually drive the cost to serve down without compromising service
Participate in the preparation and analysis of Supply Chain 5-year plan and annual budgets, including variance analysis.
Maintain Freight & Warehousing standards that drive revenue decisions for key Product Management partners.
Provide input to applicable Supply Chain and Financial Planning & Analysis teams on significant spend variances that should be considered in development of periodic forecasts.
Provide support for cross-functional process improvement activity as needed, including reporting of actual results or metrics including analysis of associated improvement opportunities and development of automated supply chain reports.
Lead the analysis of the monthly and year-to-date financial results versus budget and forecast for the North American Supply Chain.
Investigate significant variances and propose correcting journal entries as needed. Prepare detailed quarterly bridge analysis for cost variances.
Lead the preparation, analysis and distribution of monthly Supply Chain cost report summaries.
Provide analytical support as required.
What do you need for this role?
Bachelor’s degree required with a major in Accounting, Finance or Business with an emphasis in Accounting or Finance. Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business with an emphasis in Accounting or Finance preferred
5+ years of experience in accounting or financial analysis, preferably in a business transformation, operational analysis and / or a continuous improvement role
Extensive modeling and analytical experience required
Process improvement oriented, and cost management focused
Experience working on multiple projects / cross functional initiatives
Strong understanding of financial management and generally accepted accounting principal (GAAP)
Significant experience working with operations or supply chain preferred
CPA or CMA preferred
Demonstrated expert proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access)
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Experience/knowledge of SAP or other ERP system preferred
Strong written, verbal and listening communication skills
Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills
