Full Job Description

We are seeking a collaborative, experienced, and effective Senior Communications Lead to shape and share the narrative of our clients privacy-focused advertising business and products. As a key member of thecommunications team, you will partner with growing advertising and product marketing teams to develop strategies and content that resonate with diverse audiences, aligning with our clients mission for the future of the internet. You will lead initiatives that distinctly position our client in the tech industry, setting themapart from larger competitors and highlighting theirleadership through innovative products. Your approach to communications will be comprehensive, leveraging various channels, including media, to engagetarget audiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic communications plans that support business goals.
  • Provide guidance to multiple teams on projects, ensuring consistent messaging across all communication platforms.
  • Craft compelling narratives that effectively communicate the features and benefits ofprivacy-centric advertising products.
  • Simplify complex technical information into clear and concise messages for diverse audiences.
  • Create content that showcases our clients unique position within the tech landscape.
  • Develop a thought leadership strategy, identifying key events, speakers, and content to highlightleadership in privacy-preserving advertising.
  • Work with internal stakeholders, including executives, to ensure cohesive communication strategies.
  • Engage with engineering and technical teams to effectively relay technical information to consumer audiences.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high-quality deliverables and deadlines are met.
  • Coordinate content creation and publication schedules with internal teams and external partners.
  • Build and maintain relationships with media contacts to effectively communicate our mission and product stories.
  • Identify and leverage media and industry speaking opportunities to enhance visibility and reputation.

Experience:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in communications, with a background in marketing and advertising.
  • 3+ years of experience in a product-driven tech organization.
  • Proven experience working with engineering and technical communities.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in a communications role or related field.

  • Excellent writing and communication abilities, with strong attention to detail.
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects.
  • Strong character, ethics, and a commitment to high performance.
  • Ability to translate complex technical information for consumer audiences in an engaging manner.
  • Eloquent verbal communicator with outstanding written skills.
  • Experience collaborating with executives.
