Senior Associate, Commercial Mortgage Loan Administrator

SS&C’s Institutional Outsourcing division is an investment processing service group that provides middle and back office operations, accounting and reporting support to Asset Management, Insurance, Pension, Wealth Management, nonbank lenders, and mortgage REIT clients. The Loan Administration team performs loan servicing functions on commercial and mortgage loan portfolios.

What You Will Get To Do:
- Perform daily and monthly loan servicing processes, loan balance/GL reconciliation, and reporting functions
- Reconcile daily and monthly GL transactions to ensure all loan transactions are processed and recorded accurately
- Monitor cash accounts and reconcile loan payments received from borrowers
- Upload newly originated/purchased loan onto SS&C loan servicing software and send welcome package to borrower
- Generate various loan notices such as, billing statements, maturity notices, late payment notices, payoff statements, etc
- Process loan cash transactions such as payment processing, loan payoff, escrow disbursement, and investor sale
What You Will Get To Do:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or similar field
- 3-4 years’ experience in commercial and mortgage loan administration or equivalent work experience in the loan servicing industry
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to identify processing issue and formulate resolution
- Strong analytical skills and ability to remain highly organized in fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and the ability to multi-task effectively
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, with advanced working knowledge of Excel
