As a Senior Advanced Quality Engineer here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will be a key contributor in our unwavering commitment to achieving quality excellence. You will play a critical role in ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality products and services to our customers. Your expertise in quality engineering methodologies and tools will be instrumental in driving continuous improvement initiatives and maintaining our reputation for excellence.
You will report directly to our Quality Engineering Manager and you'll work out of our Redmond, Washington location.
In this role, you will have a significant impact on our quality standards and processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement advanced quality control processes. Your ability to analyze intricate quality performance metrics will drive data-driven decision-making and enhance product quality.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* As the senior member of the quality engineering team, foster a culture of technical excellence and collaboration, act as the go-to for escalation and guidance
* Develop and implement advanced quality control processes and procedures
* Analyze intricate quality performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives
* Ensure strict compliance with industry standards and regulations (AS9100, e.g.)

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality engineering
* Strong knowledge of quality control processes and methodologies (familiarity with AS9100)
* Experience with statistical analysis and data interpretation
* Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, Word)
WE VALUE
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
* Advanced engineering degree (e.g., Master's or Ph.D.) in a relevant field
* Experience in the aerospace industry
* Six Sigma Black Belt certification
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
* Strong communication skills at every level of the organization, internal and external
* Experience with SAP
* Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
* Experience with first-article inspections and audits
* Previous experience with corrective/preventative actions (CAPA)
