Responsibilities

Position Summary:

This position will be to support SAP APO and SAP IBP applications via configuration, ECC core interfaces, cloud platform integration and security administration. The candidate will review requirements and execute the most efficient solution to meet the needs of the Business through analysis, design, testing and implementation.

Responsibilities: Essential Duties

  • Design, execute and deploy business application systems.
  • Apply technical expertise to the implementation, monitoring, or maintenance of IT systems.
  • Involvement in the planning, analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, maintenance, and management of solutions.
  • Establish a technical vision for complex, enterprise projects.
  • Interact with IT colleagues and business stakeholders in problem solving, creating business capabilities, and defining effective and efficient technology solutions for solving business problems.
  • Assist System Analysts, Network Administrators, and the helpdesk deskside support group with technical support issues.
  • Ability to present technical concepts across multiple levels of an organization.
  • Provide product focal point and subject matter technical expertise.
  • Provide escalated user support.
  • Monitor activities of and coordinates activities with service providers, partners and vendors for installation, maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Assist Business colleagues in creation of training documentation and knowledge transfer.
  • Interacts with local and global colleagues to ensure solutions follow strategic path goals and objectives.
  • Prepare project status reports to inform management to project progression. Identifies any issues which need to be escalated for resolution or assistance.
  • Adhere to system validation plans as required to meet corporate business needs and support the company's GxP validation requirements.
  • Provide configuration and functional support for the SAP APO system, specifically in the area of core interface, planning areas, planning books, macros, statistical models, process chains and analysis process design routines.
  • Provide configuration and functional support for the SAP IBP system, specifically in the area of cloud platform integration, security administration, Microsoft Excel VBA, Fiori application setup, master data types, key figures, planning levels, job creation and maintenance.
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP APO DP module
  • Understanding of MRP/Heuristic functionality
  • Responsible for providing ongoing operational support and continuous improvement of supply chain Business processes by analyzing and designing improvements and new functionality in SAP APO and SAP IBP.
  • Manage and participate in system upgrades and the application of OSS notes/support packages.
  • Interface with internal and external resources involved in projects and ensure adherence to company operating procedures, validation protocols and standards.
  • Use debug techniques to diagnose program results
  • Analyze program failures with ST22
  • Leads new technology evaluation related to digital solutions, development tools and methodologies.
  • Stay current on SAP functionality and applications related to SAP APO and SAP IBP.
  • Working knowledge of SAP authorizations, roles and objects and basic reports to troubleshoot missing authorizations and assist security team with security design and helpdesk tickets.
  • Maintain subject matter expert (SME) training documentation
  • Train new and existing users on SAP APO and SAP IBP functionality
  • Participate on international calls and global teams and support harmonization efforts.
  • Adhere to project plans and schedules. May serve as a project lead or project participant on assigned projects
  • Provide support to SAP APO and SAP IBP production system users by phone 7 days a week , 24 hours a day when needed for production issues.
  • Knowledge of SAP APO PP/DS module is a plus
  • Knowledge of SAP S/4 Hana is a plus

The targeted range for this role takes into account a range of factors that are considered when making compensation and hiring decisions; included but not limited to: skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The range provided is a reasonable estimate.



Target Based Range

$134,600 to $144,600

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 08-10 years related experience required.
  • Applicable industry/professional certification preferred.
  • Regular and predictable attendance
  • Occasional business travel required, Ability to work non-standard schedule as needed, On-call hours as needed

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms.
