Dept Hours 645 - 6:15 MWF, TH 6:45 - 4:30; Rehab functions Mon-Thurs, 7:15a- 5p. Closed Friday. No weekend or call requirements.

Minimum Requirements - Must have 2yr recent Cardiac ICU, CVICU, Cardiac PCU/IMC/Tele, Vascular related, Cath Lab, Ambulatory, and/or Cardiac Rehab. 5 years of total RN experience.

Cardiac Rehab

Patient Population:Cardiac patients (Pre/Post heart surgery: Heart Transplant, LVAD, valve surgery, CABG, CHF, NSTEMI/STEMI, PTCA, Stable Angina), Vascular patients.

Patient Ratios: 1 RN and 2 Exercise Physiologists for 8 patients. High acuity cases may have additional Exercise Physiologist and/or RN.

Number of Beds: 16

Department Specifics:Innovative program with 5000+ rehab sessions in FY22, AACVPR Certified Program, Multiple research studies.

Qualifications

Grad of an Accredited Program
Specialized field of study should be nursing.
A current and valid nursing license.
Must have BLS certification or get it within 30 days of starting in this role.
