Location: Wilmer, TX
As a Rework Operator (Solderer), you will:
- The Rework Operator will use specialized equipment to solder components together, making precise welds to connect wire to wire and wire to soldering pad.
- Rework Operators are responsible for ensuring that the soldering process is carried out correctly and that the finished product meets all quality standards.
- They may also be responsible for training other workers in the rework process, setting up and maintaining soldering equipment, and keeping records of all repair activities.
- Perform all duties in a safe, reliable and efficient manner
- Maintain soldering and workstation equipment
- Perform repairs of cell strings and modules
- Use test equipment to verify temperatures of workstation and soldering iron
- Verifies quality of soldering using imaging and electrical testing
- Assemble circuits requiring fine hand assembly
- Verify cell grade, manufacturer, color series by correctly reading label
- Soldering test on a flat board soldering a straight line.
- Soldering straight lines on a solar panel that need repair.
The ideal candidate will have:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- One year or more of soldering experience preferred
- Ability to read and understand technical documents, manuals and instructions
- Ability to work in a high-volume environment to meet production targets and deadlines

Pay Range*: $22-$24 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
